Glass factory "Legras & Cie" was founded in 1864 by Auguste-Jean-Francois Legra. Many works of the factory were inspired by the plots of Halle. From 1914 to 1925, the Legra glass factory constantly expanded its product range, bringing inimitable features to the processing and decoration of products. The same work with one of the most famous designers, Rene Lallik, brought more and more fame to the Legra family. The greatest interest to the consumer was a vase in the style of cameo (the creation of products from laminated glass). During the First World War, the glass production of Legra was closed, and since 1919 it began to go under the brand name Verreri de Saint-Denis.
