Antique plate Max Le V errier

Max Le Verrier (Max Le Verrier, 1891-1973) - French sculptor. He studied at the Beaux Arts school in Geneva. In 1925, he received a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts, becoming one of the founders of the art deco style in sculpture. The sculptor's work is concise, the composition is well developed, the master paid great attention to the form and elaboration of details. The most popular subjects for the master were hunting scenes, animalistics, athletes, dancers.
