Sculpture composition "Le Nid"
Sculptural composition depicting two children sleeping soundly in an easy chair. Made of English porcelain produced in the Baker Brothers Factory (1876 - 1960). The factory was famous for its porcelain and parian products (this is a special kind of English porcelain without glaze).
The work "Le Nid" is the creation of the French sculptor Aristide Onezim Croisy (1840-1899). Many of his works adorn the gardens of the Louvre and the Palais Royal. France, Paris, the end of the XIX century.
