The famous master furniture maker Michael Thonet was born in Germany, but due to many circumstances he was forced to move to Vienna, where he received a patent for the manufacture of furniture from “bent wood”. Chairs created using this technology were called Viennese, and the workshop’s products quickly became popular and already in 1878 at the World Exhibition in Paris, the workshop’s products received a gold medal. The Brothers Sinking Company was the official Supplier of the Tsar's Court of Russia. The wooden furniture of the factory is still popular, because its elegant sophisticated lines give special beauty to any interior.
