Bruno Zach (1891 - 1945) is an Austrian sculptor who worked in Vienna and Berlin. Born in Zhytomyr, in Ukraine. At a young age he emigrated to Austria and studied at the Vienna Academy under the guidance of sculptors Hans Bitterlich and Joseph Müller. The period of his creative activity fell on the time of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, which in many respects contributed to the heyday and fame of the “Vienna bronze”.
