Kabuto helmet provideshead protection and consists of several layers, including a wide visor to cover the face fromdirect impact, and a neck guard to protect the neck from side impacts. Menpo maskis a metal mask that protects the lower part of the face without blockingreview. The do breastplate is a metal plate breastplate thatprotects the chest and abdomen from impacts. Sode shoulder plates are metal plates,attached to armor to protect the shoulders. Kotegaki hand protection islightweight bracers, and suso greaves are constructed of metal plates with insertsleather. The cuirass is two-part, laminar (“barrel-shaped”), made of horizontalarranged steel plates coated on the outside with sabi-nuri varnish. The shoulder pads are attached in gangs to the backcuirasses and are fastened to the front with bakelite buttons, replaced with bronzepecks made to order. Obviously the mannequin has articulated arms.was added to the composition much later. The armor has an antique, artisticand collectible value.
