Antique postavets in hunting style. Made of walnut. The base is represented by a sliding shelf and doors separated by a decorative bronze overlay in the form of a twisted column. The upper part consists of three shelves supported by s-shaped carved snakes with an apple, the fruit of the tree of wisdom. The composition ends with a three-dimensional carved image of a shot bird, above which a shield rises. Belgium, XX century.

Postavets – in addition to the church candlestick, also the old folk name of the shelf. It comes from the word "put". Now "postavets" can also be called low cupboards for dishes.
