Beswick is a porcelain and ceramics company founded around 1890 in Longton. In 1960, the company becomes part of the Doulton & Co enterprise, and Beswick becomes a brand name until the final cessation of production of the former firm's models in 2011. Beswick products are sought after by collectors for their masterfully created replicas of horses and birds.
