The Royal Doulton Reader Company of John's small pottery in London, which put a £100 Doulton bonus in 1815. In the course of time, John's son Henry transferred the downpipe and filter business to porcelain decorative items. For a long time, through collaboration with other craftsmen, artists and the use of fine bone china in 1960, the Royal Doulton brand takes its rightful place in the decorative ceramics market.
