The idea of decor is to liken vases to a tree. The neck of the vessel is a leafy crown. The body of the vase and the base are the trunk and root system of the tree. A pretty girl is holding on to a gilded branch. Like a goddess, the patroness of nature, the girl is inextricably linked with the flowers, leaves, trunk and roots of this tree.
