Antique plate "7 gods of happiness" or shichifukujin, Japan. Bronze, 20th century. There is a stamp. The plate depicts 7 immortals or they are also called "seven gods of happiness": Daikokuten, Ebisu, Fukuroju, Hoteison, Jurojin, Benzaiten, Jurojin, Bishamonten. Each of the gods is responsible for his area: finance, success, love, luck, patronage in war (the only Bishamonten). Benzaiten is a goddess, the only woman, the goddess of fertility, sacred river, wealth, patroness of music and art.
