A rare antique cabinet hiding a lot of drawers and shelves! It is made of walnut. Locks, handles and keys are made of metal. France, XVII century.


The upper part is decorated with mascarons and a floral pattern. The center is decorated with three-dimensional figures of boys and girls. The bas-relief of the swing door is a scene of worship before the altar of love of two loving characters. Two geniuses fly over the young couple. The bas-relief of the right door is dedicated to King Henry II of France. The left door is dedicated to his beloved, official favorite Diana de Poitiers. The base is represented by a pair of French sphinxes. The legs are made in the form of satyr heads.
