Antique sideboard in the Renaissance style. Walnut, carving, Western Europe, 19th century. Sideboard is composite. The top is decorated with an ornament made in the Gothic style, trimmed with two carved columns. The main part is decorated with niches, the doors of which are decorated with scenes in a tavern, as connecting elements of the main part and the lower tier are two figures of men dressed in the medieval manner. The base is complemented by shelves, for convenience they are separated by doors. The central door is decorated with an image of a salamander, an alchemical element, a creature that does not burn in fire. The side doors are decorated with an image of griffins and dolphins. Decorative elements, keyholes and handles are bronze.
