Antique sculpture "Foal." Made of porcelain. Hallmark: Hutschenreuther. Germany. 20th century.
The Hutschenreuther factory, whose products were called "lion-flag porcelain," was founded in 1814. Twenty-year-old porcelain artist Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther founded the first private porcelain workshop in northeastern Bavaria.
