Myron (400 BC) is an ancient Greek sculptor who became famous for his sculptures of ancient athletes and wild animals. The figure of a discus thrower is considered to be his most famous work. Currently, the sculpture is presented only in the form of copies of Italian masters.
Carrara marble is one of the most valuable in the world. It was often used for their works by famous Italian architects and sculptors, such as Nicolo and Giovanni Pisano, Michelangelo.
