Ancient sculpture "Dionysus"
Antique sculpture "Dionysus". Made of patinated bronze. France, XIX century. This sculpture is an exact copy of an archaeological find discovered in Pompeii in 1862. The original is now in the Naples Archaeological Museum. Initially, the work was attributed as Narcissus, but later art critics agreed that it was still young Dionysus, the god of winemaking.
