François Schulman is a French artist born in Paris on June 5, 1931. Immediately after the Second World War, he was admitted to the School of Applied Arts in Paris. He gave up artistic pursuits to help support his family, but quickly returned to painting as a professional artist. This is how he exhibited at the Salon of the Independent since 1951, and then in other equally famous salons, such as the Salon d'Automne, Artists-witnesses of their time, National Fine Arts, etc. His first solo exhibition took place in 1967. in Paris at the Régis Langlois gallery. It was a success, and his passion for painting continued to grow among amateurs and collectors. A landscape painter, he draws themes from everyday life.
