Antique coffee table with smoked smoky glass top. Designed by renowned Italian designer Gianfranco Frattini in the early 1950s. Glass, solid wood. Italy, XX century.Gianfranco Frattini (1926–2004) - Italian architect, interior designer, industrial designer. Born in Padua, Italy. He graduated from the Polytechnic Faculty of Milan in 1953.
Frattini became an industrial designer by chance, when he began to miss the appropriate lighting and furniture for his interiors. He was a member of the board of the Triennale International Art Festival.One of his most famous design projects - the Boalum lamp is in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum.
