Vintage set of Murano glass vases made using the Sommerso technique. Italy, 1970sSommerso technique is one of several forms of making artistic Venetian glass. Also called as “Sunken Glass”. The manufacturing technique consists in sequentially immersing one layer in another, due to which a product is obtained consisting of several layers contrasting in color.
