France, XX century.Paul Guiramand (1926-2007) French painter, engraver and lithographer. He was educated at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He studied lithography and engraving in the workshop of Fernand Murlo, which, at one time, was visited by such famous artists as Chagall, Picasso and Matisse. Since 1952, the artist began to exhibit his work at exhibitions in Japan, the USA, Mexico and Europe. In 1960 Paul illustrated the works of Ernest Hemingway and Guillaume Apollinaire. He was a member of the Society of French Engravers.
