Antique Bookends
A pair of antique bookends made of bronze with a double patina - “Mouflons”. The coasters are presented in the form of a sculptural composition of two male mouflons ready for struggle, rivalry. The foundations of the sculptures are stylized as rocky ground, imitating the natural habitat of animals. Signature of the author (Louis Fontinel (1886-1964) on the grounds. Bronze, patina. France, 1930s.
