Emile Marie Bume (1888-1967) - was born in Pezenas in France. Exhibited at the French Salon of Arts since 1909. He was awarded the Grand Prix of Rome in 1921, a silver medal at the Salon of 1926, a gold medal of 1927, the Prize of the Gun in 1928. Some of the artist's works are kept in the Pezenas Museum of Art.
