Alexander Keleti is a Hungarian painter and sculptor, born in Budapest. His exact date of birth is unknown, as many of the official lists of names and dates prior to 1900 are lost. He studied sculpture in Toulouse with Imre Simi and in Paris, where he exhibited in salons during the interwar years.Best known as a sculptor of the Art Deco era, he gracefully and smoothly sculpted human forms and animals. He preferred to work with bronze, but also worked with ceramics and painting. Years of main activity - (1918-1940). His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Kunsthalle Budapest (Art Hall).
