The sculpture depicts two mythological deities, Flora - the goddess of flowers and spring, and Zephyr, the god of the west wind. Presumably, a touching moment of love between them is captured. More often, this plot can be found as "La danse", a dance, a name similar to a single sculpture under the same name, but made by another sculptor Eugene Marioton. The passion of the goddess is emphasized by the lightness of Zephyr, both lovers are enchanted by each other. Ideal detailing is displayed by the casting technique: drapery of fabric, hair, muscles, fingers and nails, facial features. Of course, impeccable musculature and a feeling of weightlessness of the composition itself.
