René Vincent began his professional career as an illustrator for fashion magazines, such as Harper's Bazaar. He later returned to France and created numerous advertisements for Bugatti, Peugeot, Michelin, and the Shell oil company. He sometimes worked under the pseudonym Rageot. He is also known as a designer of advertising posters.

Ettore Arco Isidoro Bugatti (September 15, 1881, Milan – August 21, 1947, Paris) was an Italian designer and industrialist, founder of the French automobile manufacturer Bugatti.

Bugatti designed his first car at the age of 17. For it, Ettore received a gold medal at the Milan exhibition. The car was quite imperfect, but the young designer managed to interest Count Günelli in his ideas. With his financial support, Ettore built his second Bugatti car just two years later, which also won a medal at the Milan exhibition. This model established his reputation as a serious and promising designer. He began collaborating with various companies, such as De Dietrich (France) and Turcat-Mary (France). Over the course of his life, Bugatti worked for most of the largest European automobile companies. His passion for racing had a beneficial effect on Bugatti's design thinking: his first racing car, the Bugatti 10, appeared in 1909. Bugatti himself became a famous race car driver around this time.
