Antique renaissance sideboard. Oak, carving. Europe, 19th century

The sideboard is collapsible, consists of two parts, which is quite convenient for moving it to the required location. The upper part is connected to the lower part by carvings of winged lions, the images of which are usually attributed to the image of the lion of St. Mark. The sides of the sideboard are decorated with twisted carved columns. The upper part, as well as the niche, are decorated with heraldic medallions. The lower part is also decorated with carvings in the form of a vase with flowers, a hat, ears of wheat, braids, ribbons and acorns. Two drawers are located on the facade, the handles are as if hidden and made in the form of carved elements. The sideboard is decorated with floral ornaments on the top and on medallions-panels carved on the doors. A worthy addition to the interior.
