Vintage sculpture "Muse". Made of patinated bronze and glass. Sculptor Yves Loë. On the pedestal is the author's signature. France, 20th century.

Yves Loë (b. 1947) is a French sculptor. Yves began to seriously engage in sculpture only at the age of 25, but despite this, he achieved success quite quickly - a few years later the talented young man became a participant in Parisian exhibitions. The main themes of Loë's works were images of people and animals.

Among the most famous works of the author, the following can be distinguished: a series of works "The Art of Fire"; a series of "Iron Hands", where the author conveyed the emotions and feelings of people using the image of hands in various positions. Over time, the artist's works become more flexible and soft. In the 70s, Yves Loë collaborated with the famous master Abel Bataillard.

The next and most important stage in the development of the artist's work occurred in 1991, when the famous master Werner Manesa taught Loe the technique of working with glass. Loe was so inspired by this type of art that he opened his own glass workshop and began to create amazing sculptures combining bronze and glass. His works in this technique are characterized by a deep understanding of the harmony of light and color, movement.

In addition to small sculpture, the author also created monumental sculpture for cities in France.

Loe regularly participated in international exhibitions. His works were presented in Switzerland, Belgium, Japan, Australia, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, etc.

Today, the master's works can be seen in galleries around the world and in private collections.
