The dragon in Asia is the main symbol of imperial power. It represents strength, endurance and generosity. It was believed that dragons were the ancestors of the emperors of China, the rulers of Tibet and Japan. Dragons were considered sacred creatures; they belonged to 4 elements: earth, water, fire and air. Wisdom, cunning, strength, dexterity, knowledge, mental acuity - dragons were worshiped and deified.
