The vases were produced at the imitation manufactory of the famous Meissen factory, under the leadership of Mark Eugen Clauss, the grandson of the company's founder in 1868-1890. The painting is represented by a classic floral motif from the Meissen factory. Images of flowers are executed with a fairly pronounced outline and without shadows, which was an absolute novelty at the end of the 19th century. This style of flower painting is known to this day as Mannerism.
