Lyubimov Vladimir Petrovich was born in Kaluga in 1907. He spent the early years of his life in Pskov, after which he returned to his small homeland, where he studied with such renowned artists as A. V. Fadeev and V. N. Levandovsky. The next stage in his life was a move to Leningrad, where he studied at the Higher Art Institute (also known as the Imperial Academy of Arts named after Repin) with AA Rylov and KS Petrov-Vodkin.Today, his paintings can be found in the collection of the Kaluga Regional Art Museum and in private collections of lovers of fine arts.
