Antique sundial
Antique bronze clock in the shape of an astrolabe. The intersections of metal arcs form a model of the celestial sphere, where the positions of the equator, ecliptic and horizon are schematically depicted. Greek astronomers Hipparchus and Ptolemy used a similar model for their observations. Belgium, early twentieth century.
