In the 1950s and 1960s, the company gained particular popularity by making jewelry for the winners of the Miss America pageant. Also, the Napier brand was worn by many Hollywood stars, even the first lady Mamie Eisenhower, who really liked this brand. In the 1980s, the company was sold to Victoria & Co.
