Antique planters-jardiniere in Art Nouveau style. It is made of metal with silver plating. France, XIX century.

The item is in good condition, has no damage or defects. There is a stamp depicting the coat of arms with a Gallic rooster inside and the inscription "GALLIA METAL" at the bottom, as well as the serial number of the product - "4246". The model numbers of this trademark and this particular series range from 4100 to 6100. This marking corresponds to the metal products "Gallia", which were used in the first thirty years of production.

The trademark "Gallia" was formed in 1896 and was patented by Felix Chevron. Having existed for seventy years, the Gallia company, in cooperation with outstanding artists and designers, was engaged in the production of sculptures, tableware, as well as limited series of similar highly decorative products.
