Antique table in the Napoleon III style. The table rests on four strong legs - cabriole, decorated with gilded bronze overlays - sabots (located at the end of the legs). Along the entire length of the leg there is also a beautiful bronze decor. The table is tinted to look like ebony, the tabletop is bordered by a brass railing, it is decorated with a magnificent intarsia in the form of a flowerpot enclosed in a frame. Rosewood, mahogany, and rosewood are used in the intarsia. A stylistic shell (rocaille) completes the composition. The base of the tabletop is decorated with elements of gilded bronze, which compensate for the massiveness of the table's style with their lightness. France, late 19th - early 20th century.
