Bust of "Ivan the Terrible"
Bronze patinated bust of Ivan the Terrible modeled after Felix Chopin. The Russian tsar is depicted wearing a monomakh hat. On the inside of the work there is a label indicating the year of creation of the original work: 1867, Russia.
The reign of Ivan IV (1754-1801) was marked by harsh policies and significant reforms aimed at centralizing power and expanding the territory of Russia. However, his time was characterized by a period of repression and terror.
