Antique sculpture "Romanticism." Made of porcelain, decorated with underglaze polychrome painting. Unterweissbach Manufactory. Germany, 20th century.
The factory was founded in the 1880s and was originally called Mann & Procelius, but was later merged with a company in Volksstatt. The manufactory grew rapidly and quickly gained popularity for its animal and bird sculptures, as well as pastoral-themed figurines.
