Fishing is an exciting business. Every fisherman is devoted to his work, one might say, fanatically. Maybe because the fish is a very deep philosophical symbol? The symbol of truth, the symbol of silence, the symbol of the Philosopher's stone in its primary state. Since ancient times, it was believed that pisces possess knowledge and wisdom, which gives the artist a wide field for reflection and creativity. In addition, fish is just a beautiful and self-sufficient object to observe. And to be able to portray such an object with dignity plastically, emphasizing all its features and advantages, is simply happiness for a sculptor. At the junction of the study of all these tasks, the author created a whole series of works called "Fish People". Swordfish is one of the works in this series. It is handmade from beginning to end, covered with specially composed patina and protective mastic. Sculpture has its own meanings, which can be considered upon prolonged contemplation. Or perhaps you will have your own, which the author himself does not suspect.
