Antique jardinière
Napoleon III
An antique jardinière in the Napoleon III style. Burl wood, ebony stained, and decorative elements—bows, laurels, and rams' heads—are cast in bronze. The top is removable and can be used as a jardinière (planter) or as a coffee or magazine table. Both tops are inlaid with inlays depicting a music notebook, musical instruments, flowers, and leaves. France, 20th century.
