Antique Satsuma-style vase
An antique Satsuma-style vase. Made of porcelain and decorated with overglaze painting. The lid and upper part of the body are decorated with characteristic monks of the Satsuma clan. The central part of the vase is occupied by images of bodhisattvas, among which the Seven Gods of Fortune are recognizable. The base of the vase is decorated with two dragons. A workshop mark is found under the base. Japan, 20th century.
