In Japanese and Chinese folklore, the hare on the surface of the moon is said to be busy preparing the magical elixir of immortality.The Fukagawa workshops are the most prestigious in Japan—akin to the Imperial Porcelain Factory in Russia. Their products are renowned for their exceptional quality and are easily recognized by a hallmark shaped like the outline of Mount Fuji.
