Bronze Sculpture
Antique bronze sculpture of a warrior with a sword, thumb branch.
The work belongs to the hand of the French sculptor Émile Louis Picot (1833-1915), a student of the famous Dutch-born master Louis Royer. Emile Louis Picot is the author of many works from bronze, marble, plaster.Any Soviet citizen is familiar with one of the author's works - the sculpture "Perseus and Pegasus", which is present in the frame for significant screen time in such films as "The Diamond Hand" and "Office Romance"
The author has constantly exhibited at the Paris Salon for over 50 years. The sculptor's works enjoyed great success from the late 19th - early 20th centuries. and up to our time.
