Luxurious antique showcase. Made of wood, it is equipped with three closed compartments of a classic form, as well as one section in the form of a medallion, complemented by six figured drawers. The top and middle top of the showcase are made of marble. The shelves and doors are framed by gilded bronze overlays in the form of foliage and garlands. In the middle part of the showcase there are two picturesque compositions: the upper one depicts a pastoral couple in the forest, and the second a girl with a cupid. Both works are signed by the pseudonym A. Couvert. The showcase is also decorated with inserts with contrasting marquetry in the lower front and side parts. The showcase has been preserved in perfect condition, but craquelure is present at the pictorial exhibitions. France, XIX century.
