It all started in 1878, when Antonin Petitot founded his own workshop in Paris. Already in the near future after the founding, the lamps of the workshop were sold to Europe and the United States. Antonin's son Henri inherited the atelier in 1917. Along with Ethier and Vincent, Petitot's atelier became the largest manufacturer of exclusive French Art Deco lighting products in the 1930s.
