Antique oriental cabinet
A rare antique cabinet from Shibayama, Chiba Prefecture of the Meiji period. Equipped with several sashes, drawers and sliding panels with marquetry ornaments. Decorated with a wide variety of materials: ivory, mother of pearl, as well as brown horn and coral. The background of the panels is gilding. The rich carving, decor and the very shape of this cabinet makes it an exceptional piece of furniture. Japan, XIX century.
