St. Elizabeth with her son John the Baptist
Leaded church stained glass window & cartoon, c1941, depicting St Elizabeth and her young son John the Baptist at the water well. Above Johns head is his symbol of a Scallop shell. Lemmon's stained glass studio signature can be seen bottom-right and with a dedication scroll in the
bottom left corner that is dated 1939. Super quality coloured and textured glass has been used, with no fading, lead and glass in excellent original
condition. The cartoon, having been used to make the window, has some pin holes, paint smudges and creases but in good condition, and in its self
a work of art and is now is a painted black wooden frame.

The author is A E Lemmon (1889-1963) Artist and Craftsman" and the entry reads: Tividale, Dudley, West Midlands, St Michael's Church, 1941. The scrypt is "Dedication to Harriet Annie Edwards, 15 April 1939"
