Russia, 1991.   Nikolai Nikolaevich Antsiferov received his professional education at the Sculpture Faculty of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin, now the St. Petersburg Ilya Repin Academy of Arts. His mentor was the outstanding Soviet sculptor Mikhail Anikushin, People's Artist of the USSR and Hero of Socialist Labor. In 1971, Antsiferov completed his studies, qualifying as a sculptor. An important stage in Antsiferov's creative biography was the work on the reconstruction of lost elements of historical works, which Antsiferov has been engaged in since 2001. Nikolai Antsiferov's works are represented in museum collections, including the collection of the State Museum of Urban Sculpture in St. Petersburg.
