Antique curule chair
Antique curule chairs. The frame is made of carved wood, the original velor upholstery with decorative tassels along the edges has been preserved. The lower part of the chairs is notable for the beautiful X-shaped legs. Europe, late XIX - early XX centuries.
In some sources, this type of chair is called curial (from the word "curia" - a meeting of people or a meeting place for voters).
