Antique chandelier

An impressive antique chandelier in the Louis XV style. Cast rods in the form of ribbons and bows, going down, echo the ornate horns in the form of acanthus leaves. Each of the eight rosettes is equipped with graceful shades stylized as flaming buds. In the center of the chandelier there is an alligoric black pearl braided with a leafy bouquet, and is crowned with a central rosette with an original torch shade. Bronze, gilding. France, late 19th century.
