In the mid-60s, several employees left the Spanish porcelain company Lladro with a scandal and organized their own production. As a result of the confrontation, Lladro creates a subsidiary company Rosal, now known as the Nao brand with its characteristic products. Rosal-Nao statuettes are slightly more simple and have fewer details. Unexpectedly for Lladro business owners, such products find a buyer and the Nao brand is still alive today.
