A geisha is a unique part of the traditional Japanese pastime. A beautiful well-groomed girl, dressed in a kimono, is in charge of entertaining customers through dancing, singing, conducting a tea ceremony and talking on a variety of topics. Traditionally, geisha from an early age are trained in geisha houses - okiya, where students help the elders and learn numerous crafts and arts.
